Pronautic was founded by Luka Kosem, a sailor and yacht technician whose understanding of yachts has been shaped by years of ownership, offshore sailing, restoration work and professional maintenance.
Rather than entering the industry through a traditional service background, Lukas experience was built from the practical realities of owning and operating a sailing yacht over long distances. After purchasing a 40-foot sailing yacht in Greece, he spent several years rebuilding and modernising the vessel before setting off on an extended voyage that would eventually span the Mediterranean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean.
Living aboard for years provides a different perspective on yacht maintenance.
When a yacht is not simply a weekend escape but your home, your transport and your connection to the outside world, reliability becomes more than a convenience. Every system matters. Following his return to Europe, Luka continued building his technical experience working professionally on sailing yachts in the 40 to 70-foot range, carrying out maintenance, repairs, commissioning work and seasonal preparation across a wide variety of onboard systems.
Today, ProNautic combines practical offshore experience with professional yacht care to provide owners throughout the Northern Adriatic with dependable oversight, maintenance and support.
