Pronautic is founded and led by Luka Kosem, with Andrej Škof supporting yacht care and technical operations. Their working relationship was shaped by years spent sailing, living aboard and solving real problems at sea—experience they now bring to every yacht entrusted to Pronautic.
Before establishing Pronautic, they gained experience sailing aboard different vessels. They later purchased a 40-foot sailing yacht in Greece. The yacht was subsequently rebuilt, modernised and prepared over several years for extended offshore sailing. This was followed by an almost four-year, 30,000-nautical-mile voyage through the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Caribbean and Central America.
Years of yacht ownership and full-time life aboard provided practical experience in maintenance, system reliability, fault identification and problem-solving in demanding conditions.
After returning to Europe, both continued working professionally on sailing and motor yachts between 40 and 70 feet, carrying out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and seasonal preparation.
Today, Luka leads Pronautic’s direction, client relationships and technical oversight. Andrej supports yacht care, maintenance and field operations. Together, they combine real ownership experience, offshore sailing knowledge and professional technical work to provide dependable yacht care throughout the Northern Adriatic.

A loose line. A discharged battery. A minor leak. Equipment that hasn't been checked in months.
The purpose of Pronautic is not simply to solve problems when they occur, but to identify them before they become costly, inconvenient or safety-critical.
Through regular inspections, preventative maintenance and clear communication, every yacht is managed with a focus on reliability, transparency and long-term ownership value.
Clear assessments and practical solutions
Transparent communication. No surprises.
Consistent care that protects your investment.
There are many businesses capable of carrying out maintenance tasks.
What distinguishes Pronautic is the combination of practical sailing experience and technical knowledge.
Every recommendation is made from the perspective of someone who has depended on these systems offshore, maintained them personally and worked on them professionally.
The objective is straightforward:

Pronautic is intentionally built around a simple model.
When owners call, email or request support, they communicate directly with the person responsible for the work. There are no account managers, service coordinators or layers between the owner and the yacht.
Inspections, maintenance planning, contractor coordination and owner communication are handled personally, ensuring clear information, faster decisions and complete accountability throughout the process. For many owners, that consistency is as valuable as the maintenance itself. When questions arise, there is always a single person who knows the vessel, understands its history and can provide a straightforward answer. If that approach aligns with how you prefer to manage your yacht, let’s talk.
